She is married to John,  and they have two daughters, Emma and Rebecca, the latest of four generations of the family to attend Bishop Monkton School.

Commenting on her new appointment, Angie says:

'I am both delighted and very proud to be the Chair of Governors. Ours is a friendly and a hard working school with aims to provide children with the opportunities they need during all stages of their development, not only in learning but also as people'.

In another change, Emma Oates has taken over from Alison Holley as a Governor. Alison has been thanked for her valuable contribution to the school. Michelle Way has become Vice Chair.
